Kayla discovered yoga in 2005 and obtained her 200-hour teaching certification from Dragonfly Yoga Studies in Fort Walton Beach, FL in 2007. With over fifteen years of experience teaching various yoga styles—including Restorative, Gentle Therapeutics, Yin, Vinyasa, and Yoga for Athletes—Kayla has impacted a diverse range of students. She instructed the 68th Electronic Warfare Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida in 2010 and trained US Navy Special Operations EOD Forces in San Diego, CA in 2011 while working as an In-Home Caregiver for California Home Caregivers.
In 2013, she volunteered her time at the Children in Crisis Emergency Shelter in the Florida Panhandle, teaching foster children relaxation methods and yoga postures for anger and stress management. Kayla created a summer yoga program in 2015 while working as a Physical Therapy Aid for children with cerebral palsy at the Jackson Center for Conductive Education in Mooresville, IN.
In 2017, she expanded her expertise by earning a 500-hour yoga certification in Gentle Therapeutics from Allaine Stricklen in Miami, FL. From 2018 to 2020, Kayla taught a weekly class at The Victory Center for Autism and Related Disabilities in North Miami Beach, FL. In January 2020, she completed the Inner Balance Pilates Mat Training Course and is currently pursuing Pilates Equipment training.

She places a strong emphasis on personalized attention by providing precise alignment cues and offering a variety of modifications suitable for both novice and advanced practitioners. Additionally, she tailors breathing techniques and meditation practices to each students personal needs and goals. Her aim is to empower students to enhance their well-being mindfully, physically, and spiritually.
